Rocky Ride VI: Accelerating BBS Research

Zachary was diagnosed with Bardet Biedl Syndrome in 2010. Since then he has become legally blind and uses a mobility cane. He works full time for Lions Services in Charlotte making supplies for the military. Blindness is a part of BBS as well as obesity. In 2017 Zachary started a clinical trial with Dr Robert Haws in Marshfield, WI for what is now Imcivree and has lost over 130 pounds and can now do things he was never able to do before. Bike riding is one of those things which leads us to doing the Rocky Ride to raise money for BBS research which will hopefully lead to a cure for Zachary’s blindness. Please donate if you can but if not, cheer us on riding our bikes over 30 miles to the Art Museum steps in Philadelphia and running the steps like Rocky.

The Bardet Biedl Syndrome Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of families affected by Bardet Biedl Syndrome through information, support and by advancing research and therapy. All donations are tax deductible and support research and programs to support families affected by BBS.
